Let’s be honest, they were made to go together. Instead of grabbing a bag of peanut butter cups, try out this recipe that will provide you with the sweet you crave and the energy boost you need.

Energy Bites

INGREDIENTS

1 cup oatmeal

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/3 cup honey

1 cup coconut flakes

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Let chill for 30 minutes in refrigerator. Use cookie scoop to create balls and use hands to roll for more firmness if desired. Keeps in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week – but we know they won’t last that long!
