Green smoothies are all the rage – and they’re incredibly healthy to boot! It may be green, but you can pack yours full of fruit along with all the greens so it still tastes great. Let’s get blending!

The Legendary Green Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

Grapes

Oranges

Cucumber

Apple

Romaine

Parsley or Spinach

 

DIRECTIONS

Choose a liquid you can add to your smoothie – almond milk, orange or apple juice, or just plain water will do. Fill blender about 1/4 full, then add chopped fruits and vegetables.¬†Note: If you’ve got a high-powered blender you may be able to skip the chopping step; however, if you’re not interested in having any chunks in your smoothie, make sure to pre-chop by hand or give the fruits and veggies a few quick pulses in a food processor.¬†Blend! Add ice if you’d like your smoothie to be chilled or have a slightly frozen texture.
